One day, I wiggled a little bit of straw in front of Spike and realized he likes to play like a kitten. I’d never imagined that of an old, grizzled alley cat.

Lady Ygraine loves to play with trash on the floor. She has plenty of actual cat toys, but it seems that bits of paper or leaves or other detritus are the things that move across the floor in just the right way. It’s a good reason not to feel too badly about needing to sweep. We’ll remove the cat toys if we do!
